Mel is a seasoned Personal Trainer, Accredited Sports Nutritionist and athlete with over a decade of experience in the industry. Initially, fitness wasn’t even on her radar—her idea of exercise used to be walking home after a wild night out. However, everything changed when she found herself in a difficult mental space and was encouraged to try exercise as a way to improve her mindset. What began as a suggestion quickly turned into a passion, and today, she’s dedicated to helping others discover the transformative power of fitness.
Mel has claimed 2 x INBA National Titles, 6 x INBA State Titles, and represented Australia at the WBFF World Championships in Dallas and Las Vegas. She’s also conquered Spartan OCR events in both Sydney and the Gold Coast, and completed the Gold Coast Marathon and GC50 Ultra Marathon. Currently, she’s training for the 70.3 Ironman in May 2025.
Her mission is simple: to integrate physical fitness with mental health and make fitness and weight loss enjoyable.
Outside of fitness, she’s obsessed with cats and has an undeniable love for crumpets.
With a background in competitive swimming for 8 years, triathlons, and even a half marathon under her belt, Bronte knows what it takes to push both the body and mind.
She’s been coaching for over 3 years and is passionate about helping others reach their potential.
Bronte believes in a personalised approach to health and nutrition… there’s no one-size-fits-all which is why she will fit in so well with The Pride. Having navigated her own struggles with body image and gut health, she’s able to relate deeply and offer support from experience.
When it comes to endurance training, Bronte loves it because it presents a unique mental challenge. Living in Perth, she loves both sunrises and sunsets and has a special love for dogs - we can make her a cat person soon enough though
